I am 42!! There were times that I could not even remember my own age without subtracting from the current year LOL Why? Because I lied about it so much!! But I can officially say that I am 42. I am also putting this out there so if I forget I can refer back to this post HAHAHA Remember hahaha before LOL???
My doctors appointment went really well. I am down to 2 meds now and I am used to the side effects so much I can usually get through the day without much trouble :) Finally. Still dont really know why my original medication stopped working in August and there is always the chance the new meds might stop working but until then I should be back to normal WHATEVER THAT IS!!! I am not sure I have ever lived a normal day in my life!!!
If I have to go back in the hospital I have to get a pacemaker. I dont like the sound of that.
Lots of new babies on the scene. My neice Brittany had her precious baby boy Friday, my cousins AJ and Traci had a baby girl last week. I have not heard from my sister lately to see if she had her little boy who is due any day now. And you will all probably be shocked to know... I dont have any pictures to share right now! Consider it an vision rest seeing as my grand sons are about to come for a 3 week visit and their photos will be plastered here for weeks!!!
Nan and I have been trying to scrapbook for weeks and every time we make a date I end up in the hospital. We are going to get my halloween pages done this week if it kills me!!!
Ariel is going on her first field trip today! She is going to Upland Farms. Alex went as a chaperone. Alex is such a great auntie!! She takes such good care of Ariel. I dont know how we would all live without her!!

Oh yeah... the test was as bad as it seemed.... if you ever get the chance to have one, pass. It simulates a heart attack. I once again landed in the hospital over a stinking test. I have one request of hospitals. Get internet access or I am not coming back. I will boycott hospitals. I told my doctor I refused to go anywhere but Bon Secours and she said "yeah sure" and then the ambulance drivers (I went by ambulance) took me to St John Macomb. No where near as bad as St John on Moross but still not Bon Secours. Bon Secours has internet access and private rooms. Not that I think I am deserving of anything above normal but I would rather not have my big ass sticking out of the back of the hospital nightgown with other people in the room. I had Kevin bring me up some jogging pants and a tshirt but I had on a "special" gown that had a big pocket in the front for the heart monitor so I could take it with me wherever I went all the while my ass sticking out in the back. Isnt that special.
The only cool thing is that I get to go back to work Monday. Thank God. I need to relax. There is no relaxation in this house. I miss work. I miss my work friends. I miss $500 a week overtime.
Oh yeah, add one more drug to the list. Betapace. Its nowhere near as fun as it sounds.

I am having a Adenosine Sestamibi Stress test today. I have searched far and wide for someone who has had it done to tell me that its not as bad as it sounds. Unfortunately its as bad as it sounds. Every test I take scares me now. I got a MRI last week. I thought it was just an exray. Not any more. Now you get injected with a drug that "heats you up" for a few minutes. I mean it was hot! The simplest tests I go through now have new meaning. I know at some point they are going to hurt.
I have a lot of heart patients who read my blog and I dont really want to scare them but this is my outlet. At least you will know what happens when I come back here to complain. Kevin and all my friends are so supportive and understanding but I cant let this be all of what I am. I can't by only a heart patient. I cant complain every day. Sometimes I have to come here to scream!! I need to do normal things and be the person I am in addition to a heart patient you know.
I know how stupid I sound to people who have children with heart disease and who live every day going through far more than I ever have. But like I said, I just need to complain and yell sometimes and get it out of my system. Then I can go out and pretend to be normal and say I'm fine.

I am feeling a little better. I started another new medication on Monday called Lanoxin. If I take this with the Cardizem I feel okay for quite a bit of the day. I was hoping to go back to work on Monday I swear I was LOL but nope, I will be at home. Maybe next week.
I did get some scrapbooking done. I finished one of my haunted house books

I went to the doctor on Monday. I got new meds. This one will work I just know it! Until it does I cant go to work. How's that for fun! Actually I dont like missing work. I am afraid they are going to do something without me :( Oh well I guess I might as well enjoy it while I can.
I have been left with no choice but to scrapbook all day! And pray this medicine works and has no weird or iffy side effects!

I am having a very bad weekend. I could not get my new medication on Monday becuase of an error in dosage. I was going to see my doctor on Monday anyways so I waited. I figured I would tell her on Monday when I saw her. So last night I wake up with this strange feeling and tightening in my chest. I waited for it to go away but it doesnt seem like its going to. It seems to be getting worse so I am preparing to go to the ER if I have to. I hate the ER. I would rather just tell them what I have and go to my room. Usually every other time this has gone away. I still hope and pray it will just go away. So if your looking for me and you cant find me I will probably be in the hospital. Bon Secours on Jefferson. My next to last home....

I stopped taking my medicine Monday. I cannot work with the side effects. I cant see and I am dizzy and I cant sleep. I get a migraine trying to read my cases because I am trying so hard to focus. I dont have the kind of job where I can just call in and stay home when I feel like it so I stopped the medication until Monday. I see my doctor on Monday and I will see what she says. I might have to stay off work until I get used to the meds. Either way it kind of sucks to be me right now.
On a better note my scrapbooking raffle is going good. It went great on Monday and okay on Tuesday. Wed is at a standstill waiting for the AHA to find out if I can get a tax write off for people donating. As soon as I know for sure how they get a write off I have an exrtremely huge thing to raffle off!!!!

Here is my intro to my raffle at Willow Traders this week. Much of it is copied from my Aunt Norma's.
Everyone knows somebody who has been affected by heart disease. Serenity was born with complex congenital heart defects. Serenity fought hard against heart disease by going through five open heart surgeries and numerous medical treatments. Unfortunately she lost her battle on November 30, 2005. Now it’s our turn to fight against the Nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 causes of death - Heart disease and Stroke.
Until June 3, 2007 I will be helping the American Heart Association in it’s Heart Walk Campaign. Funds raised through our donations will support research, community service, and public and professional education programs.
I am part of the Serenity Brown’s Megga Egga Team. “Mega Egga Girl” was the super-hero name she called herself. We took that to heart and now with your help we can continue her fight. Our team goal is to raise $50,000.
What we are starting here today at Willow Traders is a scrapbook raffle Not just any raffle, we are raffling kits donated by the owners of the kit clubs who participate right here on this Willow Trader board!
I have had an overwhelming response from many many kit clubs who have donated their kits! I will be raffling off as many as I can here at Willowtraders this week
So far I have listed 3 kits and got a little money for the raffle tickets. I had about 20 store owners contact me and donate kits. I hope I make a lot of money! I see we are in the top 5 teams and since no one else is really fund raising this early maybe we can stay in the top 5 for a couple months :)

Seems like just yesterday I was saying that I was having no side effects form the Metoprolol. Oh wait, it was yesterday but that was before I went to bed.... I spent most of last night watching things float around my bedroom. I was watching my sweater walk around the room minus me. Yeah, that was fun. And my hands were numb and I could not feel my heart beat which I think is the point. I could feel the effects of my heart beating really fast but I could not feel it beat. That was weird. I have my echo Tuesday. That is usually pretty interesting. You can lay and watch your heart beat. Always a good thing :)

I have made it through day 2. My heart monitor did not go off one time. I seem to be getting by without a lot of side effects so far. I slept just fine last night (well Kevin helped with that) I didnt have any dreams which is my most freaked out side effect. Actually I feel fine :) Of course I did forget to take it this morning and took it late. That is the hardest part, remembering to take it.
Oh yeah, tell me why they gave me a pill that I have to cut. Why not just give me a lower dose pill. I smash it to bits every time. I even tried my special Creating Memories scrapbooking scissors and it not only smashed but half flew across the room. Luckily I seem to have extras....
Holly went to wake Ariel up this morning for school and Ariel pulls the covers over her head and says "5 more minutes! I wonder where she gets that from!

Today I will start a drug that I will have to be on the rest of my life. I am not happy about that. Starting means I cannot stop. I usually just do what I want regarding these things but suddenly stopping could give me a heart attack. You have to wean yourself off this drug for weeks before you can stop. That means I dont have control of my situation. If the side effects are too much to handle it will just be too bad for me. I will have to just suffer with it. That makes me more scared than not taking it. So that is why so far, the pill bottle is sitting in front of me.
Good news and bad news. My heart disease has a name, unfortunately I forgot what it is. The whole time the doctor is talking I am listening, understanding, taking it all in. I had every intention of looking it up on the internet. As soon as I walked out of the office my mind started going a million miles a minute and I totally forgot what she said! I do know that up till now I was pretty safe, the disease was in my upper chambers. Now it has begun to move into my lower chambers so for the last 2 months I have been worrying about dying for nothing!! I didnt need to worry until this week!!!! Good news is that my doctor said she has seen people live on this drug for years. You might not think that is good news but considering I thought I would be gone next month it sounds good to me. I will take years over months.
Side effects seem a little scary. But I have my trusty heart monitor on so it will advise if I have deathly effects. By then I will be gone but hey, at least they will know what killed me. Perhaps I will be one of the few that dont have any side effects. Oh yeah, my life always defies the odds. NOT

Well I got the heart monitor on now. It sounds like a fax machine and messes up the kids cell phones LOL It started out with another one of my normal heart episodes but this time my left arm went numb. I got scared and my heart would not stop rushing. I went to the ER and they made me stay for 2 days. Now I have to wear this little monitor that I hope I dont break for a month!!!!!! Maybe they will look in the little box that I am wearing in a month and it will show them some secret miracle that will cure me and let me live till I'm 60 :)
Yesterday I found out that my friend that I have been looking for over 5 years died. I have no idea how yet. I feel such a whole in my heart. I miss her so much. When I look back on the memories we had and remember all the things we did I just cant imagine her being gone. She had 3 kids and I had my 5 and we hung out all the time, just the 10 of us!! I am so sad about this.
So I need something fun to do. So here is a Meme someone sent me. Maybe these happy thoughts will make me feel better.

Weird 9/11 facts
1) New York City has 11 letters
2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.
3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.
4) George W Bush has 11 letters.
5) The two twin towers make an "11"
This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:
1) New York is the 11th state.
2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.
3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Tower̢۪s, was carrying 65 passengers. 6 + 5 = 11
5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 = 11
6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:
1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.
4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.
Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:
Now this is where things get totally eerie:
The most recognized symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book:
"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."
That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.
Still un-convinced about all of this..?! Try this and see how you feel afterwards, it made my hair stand on end:
Open Microsoft Word and do the following TRY THIS FOR REAL)
1. Type in capitals Q33 NY. This is the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Twin Towers.
2. Highlight the Q33 NY.
3. Change the font size to 48.
4. Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS 1
